File a Complaint
Contractor Seal is dedicated to promptly addressing your concerns. We conduct thorough investigations and strive for a swift resolution. If a contractor on our platform is found at fault, they will have the opportunity to rectify the issue. However, failure to do so within a reasonable timeframe will result in their removal from our platform. We take complaints very seriously, prioritizing homeowners' protection and ensuring collaboration with the best contractors. Whether you need to file a complaint, report a misleading advertisement, or notify us of a scam involving an active contractor on our platform, you're in the right place. Not responding to a legitimate Contractor Seal complaint may negatively impact the business, as responsiveness to customer complaints is integral to Contractor Seal's standards, agreements and future success. It is in the contractors' best interest to resolve all legitimate matters promptly.

1: The consumer should have contacted the business at least once to resolve the issue (this is not required but encouraged). 2: Your complaint cannot be changed, edited, or deleted once it has been submitted. 3: A verbatim copy of your complaint will be forwarded to the business if we find it to be valid, and the contractor will be obligated to address it, or they may jeopardize their Contractor Seal. 4: Please attach any supporting documents, including messages, contracts, pictures, or emails. 5: Please do not include any personal information. 6: By submitting your complaint, you represent that it is a truthful account of your experience with the business/contractor. We may edit your complaint to remove any personally identifiable information and/or inappropriate language, but ultimately it is your responsibility to remove this information.

If we determine that the Contractor is at fault and they fail to resolve or respond to the issue within 14 days, their business will be flagged on our platform, and their profile will be marked as inactive due to failure to meet our standards or lack of registration. The Contractor can try to reinstate their Contractor Seal and Active status if they choose to resolve the issue in the future. There's no guarantee of reinstatement. If we determine that the contractor is not responsible for this complaint, we will inform you accordingly.
